The Oldest Feeling Known to Man

To the oldest feeling known to man, as their eyes locked, nothing else mattered time, and space had become irrelevant.

The only thing that made any sense was that moment of singularity, blissful peace; for him to travel the whole world just for this moment. He had only heard and seen people like her in hopeless romantic movies, yet he had become the hopeless romantic himself. What lies ahead matters not, all he wanted was to love her like no man has ever done, and no man will ever do except him… and the feeling was mutual.

Wish I could read the language in her eyes. My heart falters in doubts of hope and despair.

Worse, what is this menacing solitude, my love? All I did was glance at her image, and It stole my sleep away. I heard her say I should be patient and that she would come to me soon, with my arm across my head and the shiver of cold I gazed upon the ceiling, an empty ceiling but I saw her, her face carved perfectly with her enchanting smile and framed lens, then she blew me a kiss and off I went into oblivion. I awoke hours later to a beep on the phone. She had dreamt of me too …

She told me again to be patient and that she understood my feelings perfectly.

A love that is true will stand the test of time, distance, and space. And then she finished by saying however,” wherever and whenever she would marry only me, and “me” alone. My heart pounded with ease and thus began the most beautiful day. The nights get cold and lonely, but her words gave me a warm company.

Time, distance, and little words so many obstacles… So little time…

Every molecule in my body is subdued by your charm
